Lapland Hotels Luostotunturi & Amethyst Spa

Nice place with amenities like free parking, a spa & wellness centre, and an indoor swimming pool. I fondly remember how the staff helped me find my lost earring on my first stay. I'm coming back for Christmas.

Comfortable hotel with spa. Large rooms with balcony. Great breakfast.

Clean property, very good staff. Atmospheric, quiet unit with refrigerator and double bed. Totally awesome stay for 3 nights.

The best and worst parts

Cozy cabins with mini kitchens and private saunas provide a warm retreat. The surrounding area features convenient amenities like a supermarket just minutes away.

Noise levels disrupted sleep quality, particularly from children playing in the hallways during the night.

Fantastic location, absolute tranquility, beautiful view and balcony. Extremely relaxing! After all, low season and the package tourists in the bus were always quickly gone again.

The free logs for the cozy fireplace added a good touch to our stay, while the pleasant atmosphere in the bistro enhanced our dining experience.

The breakfast was very rich. Very quiet. Very good food in the restaurant.

Overcrowded dining areas during peak times!!! Cold water in the jacuzzi and main pool isn't ideal!!! A more thorough room cleaning would definitely enhance the stay!!! Limited lunch options could use improvement too!!!

to live once in a rustic furnished log cabin with sauna, fireplace and a huge wooden bed, was already a special experience! And the situation in the middle of the forest! Simply wonderful!

This hotel is peaceful and fairly clean, has nice staff and magnificent location near location to Luosto mountains. The units are impressive, neat with a large dryer, double bed, a regular house keeping.

Nothing everything was great.

Great buffet breakfast and kids loved the pool, but the location feels isolated.

Nice wildlife atmosphere for enjoying nature and winter sport activities. Friendly staffs speaking multi lauguages. All served meals are quite satisfying for us (to be frank, more than we expected actually).

Inside swiming pool is quite small and noisy, not good for relaxing, same for sauna. Choice of restaurant is very limited (plus there is only one restaurant outside in front of the hotel & one small diner...). Very difficult to move around if don't have a car (or snowmobile). A bit far from the Rovaniemi (it takes approx.1.5hrs. from the Rovaniemi airport by Skibus and available only 3-4 times a day).

It was an excellent stop over for us on our trip from Helsinki to Inari, it provided a different experience and scenery from elsewhere in Finland, and staff were extremely helpful. We will come here again in winter to ski and to see the northern lights.
